Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Reservations

Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. By submitting your booking through the Site you confirm that the information you provided is accurate and that you agree to these Terms.

All reservations are tentative until you receive an emailed confirmation.

2. Pricing & payment

Prices are listed on the Site in USD. Payment is collected on arrival at the studio — we accept cash and major credit cards. No upfront payment is required when booking.

Prices for special ceremonies and group sessions may differ from the standard tariff and are shown on the corresponding card.

3. Cancellations & no-shows

You may cancel a reservation free of charge by replying to your confirmation email at least 24 hours before the booked time.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before, or do not show up, we may decline future reservations from the same email or phone number.

Special ceremonies may have stricter cancellation rules listed on the ceremony card; those override the general rule.

4. Late arrivals

Tea tastings are timed experiences. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late will receive a shortened session at the original price.

5. Studio rules

  • Please silence phones and step outside for calls during a tasting
  • Outside food and drink are not permitted
  • The studio is non-smoking
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose behavior disturbs other guests

6. Allergies & dietary needs

Tea is the only beverage served. Tasting menus may include light desserts that contain common allergens (gluten, dairy, nuts). Please tell us in the booking notes about any allergies — we will do our best to accommodate.

7. Intellectual property

All text, photographs, and design elements on the Site belong to Gaiwan & Tea. You may share links to our pages but may not copy or republish content without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

We do our best to deliver an exceptional experience, but to the fullest extent permitted by law our total liability is limited to the price you paid for the tasting. We are not responsible for indirect or incidental damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
